The feel of our 17th hole is best summed up as intimate and secluded. A ridge borders and frames the left, while marshland runs the entire right of the hole. The tee shot plays tight, but there is more room left than it appears. Shots will often bounce down the ridge into the fairway. The approach in is guarded by a bunker to the front and right, and has marsh wrapping around. The green slopes left to right, and players missing left will find a very difficult up and down.
